available for review. A motion was made to accept the minutes,

The treasurer’s report will be available on the
WISNAPA website www.wisnapa.org.
Vice President Jan Heinitz read thank you notes
from Midshipmen Steve Voigt, Matt Wittkopp, Kerry Brady and Alex Eagan
thanking members for their support and for the care packages.
Tom explained that the guest speaker was unable
to attend and spoke instead about the new USO Center that recently
opened at Mitchell Field Airport in Milwaukee. He spoke of the various services
that are available to members of the military.
Tom asked those members present if it is
beneficial to have a guest speaker at each meeting.
Members agreed that a guest speaker at either the fall or
spring meetings is sufficient and that parent discussions would be
preferred.
Future meeting locations were discussed.
Appleton, Manitowoc, Madison and Wisconsin Dells were suggested as
possible sites.
Jan Heinitz asked if members would be interested
in pursuing a governor’s send-off at the State Capitol for incoming
plebes. She will look into this further.
